1992 – 1993 - $16,000

  • Horizon House; Denver CO - $3,000
    Horizon House is the only residential care facility in Colorado for persons in the late stages of AIDS. Residents live in a home setting as an alternative to more institutionalized settings.

  • Arkansas AIDS Foundation - $3,000
    Arkansas AIDS Foundation conducts outreach into the minority communities throughout Arkansas. Gamma Mu funds were used by the to support a free, anonymous HIV testing program.

  • Food and Friends, Washington, D.C. - $3,000
    Food & Friends is the only existing program in the Washington DC metro area that specializes in the preparation and delivery of fresh-cooked meals for people living with AIDS.

  • F.A.C.T., Inc – St. Petersburg, FL - $2.000
    F.A.C.T. is a non-profit fundraising organization that provides direct assistance to persons with HIV infection to help defray health care costs.

  • Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Services Center - $1,000
    The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Community Services Center is a social service agency in Los Angeles providing services to persons living with aids. The center operates the largest anonymous test site in L.A., provides monitoring of individuals' health through its aids prevention clinic, and operates a large early intervention programs.

  • New Mexico AIDS Services - $1,500
    New Mexico AIDS Services, Inc. is a statewide agency founded in 1985 to provide client services, emotional support and education about HIV to the people of New Mexico.

  • Bread & Roses, Georgetown, CT. - $1,500
    Bread & Roses is a residential care program in Georgetown, Connecticut, providing around-the-clock supervised care for people in the final stages of AIDS.

  • Federation of Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (International Group) - $1,000
    Federation of Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. (P-FLAG) is an international network with various programs such as an 800 phone line for group help lines and AIDS family partner support, lesbian and gay suicide prevention, and national TV public service announcements.
