1995 - 1996 - $34,700

  • Mobile AIDS Support Services (MASS), Mobile AL - $7,500
    MASS provides case management and support services to individuals in six rural counties in Alabama.

  • AIDS Foundation of San Diego (AFSD) - $3,000
    AFSD serves people living with AIDS in San Diego County, outside the city of San Diego, who utilize the group's Grocery Hearts Food Bank. 

  • MAUI Aids Foundation - Wailuku, HI - $2,500
    MAUI AIDS Foundation initiated a Client Recreation Program to promote an outlet for support, education, information exchange and group recreation. 

  • Central City AIDS Network (CCAN), Macon, GA - $3,000
    CCAN helps people with AIDS in meeting instrumental and expressive needs. 

  • Central Idaho HIV/AIDS Consortium - $4,000
    The Consortium includes the state's only community health clinic dedicated solely to providing clinical and referral services to people with HIV/ADS in southwest and central Idaho. 

  • Idaho AIDS Foundation (IAF) - $1,500
    IAF established a committee of concerned community members to develop an AIDS housing project to accommodate 10 to 12 low income AIDS clients who need living arrangements and on-going support. 

  • Southern Illinois Regional Effort for AIDS (SIREA) - $4,000
    SIREA serves 16 rural southern Illinois counties. 

    Rural AIDS Action Network (RANN), Minneapolis, Mn. - $1,500
    · RAAN is a volunteer program that builds volunteer groups in small towns to determine community needs and to seek out others to join in an AIDS compassionate network 

  • AIDS Community Resource Network (ACORN), Lebanon, NH - $700
    ACORN is a community-based AIDS support organization serving both New Hampshire and Vermont.

  • Athens AIDS Task Force (AATF), Athens, OH - $4,000
    AATF provides services to persons in all stages of HIV infection; their families and friends, as well as the general public.

  • Outreach to Rural Youth, Washington - $3,000
    Working with a chapter of P-FLAG, this group is sponsoring an Empowerment, Safety and Respect National Standard Conflict Resolution/Mediator Certifying Project.
