To carry out its mission, Gamma Mu Foundation:

• Awards grants to 501(c)(3) organizations working in America's rural HIV/AIDS environment. 

• Provides graduate level scholarships to college and university students whose degree programs have a positive influence on gay acceptance in the community at large.

• Conducts fundraising events throughout the country: e.g. black tie dinners, raffles, matching gifts, etc.

• Provides means and planning assistance for outright, annual and memorial gifts, and planned giving through wills, life insurance assignments and charitable trusts.

• Offers a range of opportunities for contributing personal talent and human skills to our nationwide network of volunteers.

• Invests endowment and current monies wisely and conservatively, generating additional funds for program support.
